This week, we are featuring three matches in our blog post: #5 Florida @ #21 Missouri, #15 Michigan State @ #3 Wisconsin, and Washington @ Utah. Each of these matches have huge implications in conference standings as the Pac-12, SEC, and Big 10 have just two more weeks in conference play. Let’s see how these teams matchup up below:

In our first matchup, we have Missouri playing Florida. Both teams are similar in passing, digging, but Florida has the upper hand on attacking and serving. Overall, Missouri has the the higher score, but our predictions have Florida winning. Florida is not a great blocking team, but since Missouri is not a great attacking team, they should be able to defend well and come away with the victory.

In our second matchup, we have Wisconsin against Michigan State. Wisconsin is currently #2 in the Big 10, while Michigan State is number 4, and just two games behind them. Depending on how this match goes, we could have a big shake up in the Big 10 standings. Wisconsin will be the home team in this match up, and seem to be highly favored. Our predictions have them winning 59.95-40.05. Wisconsin is coming into this week with a 7 game win streak and have only lost one home game this whole season. They also perform similarly or better in every statistical category asides from digging.

The last matchup is between Utah and Washington. In their first meeting, Utah got shut out 3-0 by Washington. Washington has dominated in conference play, and with the home court advantage, it seems that Washington will have the slight edge over Utah 51.27-48.73. Both teams are nearly similar in every category, with Washington being slightly better in passing. This game should be a very close series, but it looks that the Huskies will leave Utah with the victory.
